Tarcoll Construction
Dear Tara and Colin,

Donna and I would like to offer our sincere thanks and appreciation, in the form of a written recommendation, for the outstanding job completed by your company on our bathroom renovation.

Without carrying on with too much ado, quite simply we are overjoyed with the end result and the manner and professionalism that result was achieved with.

From our initial discussions of design, layout, and finishes through the construction process and finally the projects completion your attention to detail and quality of finish was rivalled only by the neat and tidy state the work site (our home) was left at the end of each day, you cannot fathom how impressive such a simple act was to us.

Any recommendation of your company would be incomplete if mention was not made of Josh Hile the project manager, what an impressive young man and credit to your business and mentoring he is, nothing was too much trouble for Josh and the couple of minor issues that occurred along the way where made inconsequential by Josh’s effort’s.

In closing can I encourage to continue to provide the levels of service, diligence, integrity and craftsmanship that have been witnessed by us in our dealing with Tarcoll Constructions as they are characteristic of your business sorely missing in some of your so called “competitors”.

I grant you unqualified permission to use this letter in any way you see fit to further your business endeavours and would welcome an opportunity to discuss and embellish on our experience with anyone who is considering engaging Tarcoll Constructions.

Well done

Yours Sincerely

Where do I start ... ..
Following my house fire in August 2011, I was in despair, at the lowest point
in my life and at a loss as to why I should carry on.

One phone call to Tarcoll in early February 2012 my life changed. Within 24
hrs Col along with his head carpenter Keagan, arrived in Wagga to "have a
look at the job". On the 22nd February, the boys arrived in Wagga at 13:00hrs
and by 13:30hrs demolition had commenced. Working from daylight to after
dark 7 days a week, the rest is history!

The advice, support and care in which I received from not only Col, but his
wife Tara, Kimberly in the office and the boys who actually did the work, was far
beyond the call of duty.

On the 5th of May 2012 I moved home again, and 12 months on I am still as
"Happy as a pig in mud". There are no words to express my gratitude, you
saved my life .... Literally!

Lots of Love,

Letter to the Editor.

I have read some disturbing letters to the editor over the last few weeks regarding the out of town contractors.
I am sorry, but I totally disagree as we have had contractors from Taree fixing the damage in our house caused by the floods.

A Company called Tarcoll, and we have found that they were very obliging and expected a high standard of workmanship from the tradesman that they hired. They also tried their hardest to employ local tradesman to do the work, as in local sparky, painter, plumber and tiler.

I must admit the first local tiler they employed to lay the floor tiles in my kitchen dining area was sadly lacking in his trade, his excuse was that it was an insurance job.

The Tarcoll supervisor agreed with me and found another young local tiler that finished off the tiling for me and did a brilliant job.

I cannot find fault with the Tarcoll company, their supervisor, or their workers. They listed and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our house was as good as new.

Thank you guys for an excellent job.

We would like to thank NRMA insurance and DAK-WAL for sending Tarcoll Construction to us, to put our home back to-gether after the floods in Yenda. Col Scott and his team did an excellent job, everything was done to perfection. They kept in touch every step of the way and we cannot praise them enough. So happy to be home again in our wonderful new home. We would like to thank all of the locals who came on board to work with Tarcoll.

David Priest and Aaron for the fantastic job on the verandah and the floating floorboards, Geoff Oslington for the great paint job, Paul Ellis for the electrical work, Patane tilers and others we didn't meet personally, we thank you.

Dear Colin & Tara

I am writing this letter to thank you for the amazing work you have done to restore our three properties.

During the March 2012 floods, our properties were inundated with water and caused a considerable
amount of damage. These buildings required, in some cases, a complete refurbishment.

The quality of workmanship was simply outstanding and your professionalism is appreciated.
In particular, I need to thank Leo for his great stewardship to the task involved. He was able to task the jobs efficiently and able to solve any issues without hesitation. I also must thank you Colin, for your understanding, knowledge, guidance and advice. This was appreciated.

There has been some criticism of "out of town tradies" coming in to rebuild our town, but your company's ability to engage and work with local tradesmen was appreciated. In fact, your company restored our properties beyond expectation.

I understand that you have several more homes to complete, but I entrust that you will complete these jobs with the utmost professionalism and superior workmanship that has been displayed.

I wish you all the best for the future and look forward to the day you can come back to Yenda without your nail bag.

Dear Colin & Tara,

Thanks for a job well done & for the little extra’s I wasn’t expecting.

I enjoyed having your team here, they were all friendly & obliging, Daniel pulling the place apart, Keegan the builder, Leo the tiler, Anthony the painter & I can’t remember all the other names but I liked them all. The carpet in now laid so I’m very comfortable with a beautiful bathroom.

Best Wishes to you all

Tarcoll Constructions were given the job of repairing severe storm damage to my house. I was assured by Dak Wal Constructions from Newcastle – the underwriting contractors that, in their words “ I would be very well looked after by local company Tarcoll Constructions” and they weren't wrong.

Initially I thought the repair process was to take up two weeks and totally disrupt my house and life even to the point where I would have to vacate the premises.

Admittedly I was stunned when a team of tradesmen and workmen, not just one or two carpenters, arrived early one Monday to raise and remove my old floating floorboards and re-lay new timber floorboards as well as remove two old storm damaged windows and replace with new windows.

To my amazement Tarcoll ripped up and removed __ sq metres of flooring and re-laid the beautiful new timber floor in one (1) day and their builders had removed and replaced my two front windows (2). The following day they returned to finish the flooring and tidy up until they were satisfied I was happy.

Not only was I more than happy with the finished product but more importantly, to me anyway, was the total professionalism of Tarcoll Constructions and their commitment to customer satisfaction through respect and consultation with the owner over all aspects of the job. My assessment of anybody doing work for me is the standard of work of course, and the manner in which it is carried out. All the fellows involved over the two and a half days it took to put in the fabulous timber flooring and two new windows were polite, respectful, on time and hardworking and welcome in my home then and in future. My father used to say ‘walk that extra mile’ and they did, I was the judge of that Col!

Previous consultation with Col Scott of Tarcoll – much appreciated - about the required painting to be carried out resulted in what I can only describe as ‘unbelievable job’ by painter Jason Baxter of Tarcoll Constructions. In two and a half days he transformed my house to match the beautiful flooring and I feel like I have a new house. A truly wonderful job by all and let’s not forget the office staff headed by Tara Scott and at all times the professional and humorous co-ordination of this ‘project’. I was updated with phone calls and emails and treated courteously and respectfully by the girls in the office which went a long way to relieving the frustration I was feeling at the damage the storm initially caused – thankyou Tara and ‘the girls’ in the office.

Tarcoll Constructions have made my home beautiful and like new and I am very happy, relieved and grateful at the standard they set themselves that has benefited me greatly.

Thank you for the excellent professional service rendered by your firm, Tarcoll Construction in repairing damage done to my home by a burst water hose under the kitchen sink.

The whole process has been quite "painless" from the first contact with the NRMA to your handling of the repairs to be carried out. The parquetry floor damaged by the water has been bought back to it's original state and I couldn't be happier. The preparation and care taken by your floor sander/polisher, Mr. Steve Johnson was outstanding. I was kept informed by your firm during the whole process and would recommend you to anyone.

To Whom It May Concern:
It is a pleasure to give feedback on recent building repair work by Tarcoll Construction to our fathers property in Gundagai NSW. The flood damage insurance repair work was awarded to Tarcoll after a lengthy interval from NRMA Insurance inspection & claim approval. It was only once Tarcoll got the job that things seemed to move.

Tara at Tarcoll was a personable and excellent communicator, and it was great to know that her team was on the job, ard to get progress reports at last. She soon grasped the limitations of our mostly distant family, and went out of her way to liaise with us. Tara also outlined which staff would be working on repairs & when, and that was much appreciated .

Given the distance from base, and the fact that the premises were unoccupied -causing access limitations- Tarcoll did a wonderful job of servicing the repairs. Things were
further complicated by the necessity to remove a lift from the stairwell. (I have also received positive feedback from the "keeper of the keys", saying how "easy to get on with" and pleasant the Tarcoll team were, which reassured her about handling the security of the property.)

It was nice to be asked about details like door design and paint colour, and to work with Tara for the best outcome to suit the property.

Although I have not yet personally viewed the completed building repair work, I have feedback from my brother who was on site and he reported that all looked well, and that the large and complex repair job- near completion - was being undertaken in a professional manner.

Notice from Tarcoll once their work was finished, and advice relating to the security of keys, was again appreciated.

Many thanks to all the Tarcoll Team! I thoroughly recommend their customer service and job efficiency, and would be happy to be contacted regarding these matters.

Dear Tara,

It was a pleasure having your tradesman working at our residence. They were very polite and extremely efficient. The manner in which they carried out the painting was in a very tradesman like manner. I would have no trouble in recommending them in the future to anyone who asks. The finished product was far superior to the original painted finish. Both my partner and myself thought they could show some of the tradesman in our area how to paint. All the while they were there and while we were away we felt very secure with them in our home.

Responding to your letter I found all your workers friendly, helpful and prompt. I was very pleased with the job they did. I will not hesitate to call you if I need any further work done to my kitchen etc. Only had a bit of a hiccup concerning the knobs for the cupboards, (lack of communication) but they managed to fix it all up, job well done.

Yours Sincerely
